GURU Words of Wisdom
The Samsung Instinct S30 SPH-M800 is sometimes called an iPhone clone, but that characterization does not give it credit for being an excellent 3G touchscreen near-smartphone in its own right. While the user interface may not be as sexy as the iPhone's, the Samsung Instinct is blessed with a nice design, a decent touchscreen, and excellent multimedia capabilities.
Product Description
The Samsung Instinct S30 SPH-M800 was one of the first touchscreen phones to come after the iPhone, and it is often unfairly referred to as a knock-off. Although it lacks some of the iPhone's coolest features, such as a multitouch screen and full use of the built-in accelerometer, the Instinct is a nice looking device that has excellent music, photo, and video viewing capabilities with an easy to use interface. While it's 3.1" screen is a little smaller than the iPhone's, its web browser is awkward, and its personal information management software lacking, users who are most focused on entertainment will appreciate the 3G capabilities combined with Sprint's online music and video services, especially with combined with the competitively priced Sprint Everything unlimited plan.
