GURU Words of Wisdom
The Sony Walkman NWZ-X1061 is Sony's top of the line Walkman touchscreen MP3 player, with a beautiful OLED display. The hardware is well designed and nicely built, but the software falls short of the bar set by Apple.
Product Description
The Sony Walkman NWZ-X1061 is Sony's top of the line Walkman MP3 player, and can claim to be the first player with an OLED touchscreen (at Though at 3" slightly smaller than that of the iPod Touch). The hardware is nicely designed, with a slim, sleek form factor, built-in wifi and FM tuning, and of course that beautiful screen. With capacity options of 16GB and 32GB it holds more than enough songs for most people. But the screen does not come with multitouch capabilities, there is no accelerometer, and the software is not as easy or fun to use as Apple's, and relies on Windows Media Player.
