We are consumers just like you. Think of us as your smart, detail-oriented friend who has to research everything before he or she buys. We do the research and homework for you. We visit stores to test and use products. We go to manufacturers’ websites to understand all the features and details. And we comb the web to study what consumers and other specialized review sites have to say about the products.
We try to have the 20-40 most popular and most common products in a category reviewed. Some categories have more products and we focus on the ones we think are the best.
Scoring—we use a 1-5 score to rate our products. All products are rated by our product experts on five criteria which generates the overall ConsumerGURU rating. Each product is rated based on performance, reliability, ease of use, features, and value. We also present the ratings from other consumers like you through epinions.com.
